Privacy: what this website keeps, and what it does not

No trackers, no ads and no contact forms. Here, in full detail, is everything that happens when you visit reyesproject.com, which is very little.

What I do not do

No tracking and no advertising

There are no accounts, contact forms, ads or tracking tools from Google, Meta or anyone else. I do not sell or share personal data, and this website collects none on its own; only what you choose to send me by email or WhatsApp reaches me.
The only cookie

One technical security cookie

Cloudflare, the service that protects and delivers this website, stores a technical cookie called cf_clearance in your browser. It helps tell people apart from automated programs that attack websites. To do so, Cloudflare loads a small detection program of its own on each page, which looks at how your browser behaves and communicates only with reyesproject.com; it is neither advertising nor analytics, and it does not follow your activity. The cookie does not carry your name, it is not used for advertising and it is only sent to reyesproject.com and its subdomains, never to other websites. It lasts up to a year, and you can delete it whenever you like: the website keeps working the same way.
Counted visits

How many visits, not who makes them

This website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics (also called Insights), from the same service that delivers it. It measures how many visits each page receives, from which country, which site you came from, what kind of device and browser you use, and how fast the page loads, as aggregate figures. According to Cloudflare, it does not use cookies or any other storage in your browser to count visits, and it does not identify you by your IP address or your browser. It tells me which pages people read and which ones are not needed. Cloudflare privacy policy.
How I count visits

Without knowing who you are

The server records which page was opened, from which country, which site you came from and whether the page loaded correctly, without your IP address or any identifier. Those records live in Cloudflare’s log and are deleted automatically after three days. To deliver the page and stop abuse, Cloudflare processes your IP address the way any server does; I do not keep it.
In your browser

A note that clears itself

While the tab is open, the website remembers that you already saw the opening animation, so it does not repeat it. When you close the tab, that mark disappears.
Academy certificates

Your name is not stored

The name you type travels to the server only to calculate the certificate’s signature, and it is not stored. The PDF stays on your device. The verifier checks a certificate by sending the code and the name to the server, recalculating that signature and answering on the spot, without storing anything and without looking anything up in a list. The link printed on the certificate carries only the code, never the name.
When you write to me

To answer you, and nothing else

What you send by email or WhatsApp is received by Alexis Reyes, in Anaco, and is used only to answer you and for the work we agree on; I keep it for as long as that conversation or that work lasts, and no longer. WhatsApp is a Meta service with its own terms. Whenever you want, write to info@reyesproject.com to see, correct or delete your messages and your data: I answer on business days, within the same week.
Schools

Student data belongs to the school

Student and teacher accounts in Google Workspace for Education are created and managed by the institution itself, through the staff member in charge. Reyes Project does not access student data. What the school sends me for its website (text, logo, photos, the official letter and the name of the contact person) is used only to build and maintain it, and only what the school approves is published. Photos showing children or teenagers are published only with the authorization of their parents or guardians, which the school collects and keeps, as Venezuela's child protection law (LOPNNA) requires.
Accessibility

A website for everyone

This website is built to meet WCAG 2.2 at Level AA: it works with a keyboard and with screen readers, it respects your reduced-motion setting, and the animated background can be paused from the footer. If you run into a barrier, write to info@reyesproject.com and I will fix it. I check it with automated tools and by hand on every release; if something does not work for you with your screen reader or keyboard, tell me which page and what you use, and I will fix it.
