Free technology courses for the whole family, in Spanish for now
Short, interactive courses, ten minutes or less, with no sign-up, right in your browser. They are written in Spanish for Venezuelan families first; English versions will follow once they are just as good. At the end, you download a simple certificate with your name, and anyone can verify it.

Pick a topic and begin
Each course has its own page and works on any phone or computer. New courses come out when they are ready, and I do not promise dates.
Part 1
Fundamentals
How a computer thinks and how you talk to it. Start here if all of this feels new to you.
Part 2
Security
So nobody can trick you or take what is yours. The scam-message course is the one I recommend most.
Security
How to spot a scam message
Five messages like the ones you get on WhatsApp and by email. You decide which ones are scams.
SecurityPasswords that hold up
See how long it would take a computer to guess a password like yours. Nothing leaves your browser.
SecurityLock down your WhatsApp
Six real situations and the exact setting that closes each door, on Android and on iPhone.
SecurityApp permissions: who sees what
Camera, microphone, location, contacts and photos: what to tap when an app asks.
Part 3
Today’s tools
New tools, used with good judgment.
If you like the way things are explained here
I build websites with the same patience
Schools in Venezuela get theirs for free and business websites start at $600. If your computer is giving you trouble, I can help remotely. And if you have a technology question, send it my way: it might become the next course.
